We're Moving On Up...

to the north side of Alabama, probably Huntsville. Yancy has been offered the position of Customer Relations Manager for the 2 northern districts of Alabama. He'll be keeping Sysco's gold customers happy and profitable, as well as going after new business. His work will be similar to a restaurant consultant's job. He's very excited about the new challenge. We are having mixed emotions about leaving Auburn though. We have made some very special, dear friends here. We also love our neighbors and our church. I have 4 awesome college girls in a weekly Bible study that I hate to leave. One more negative is that we will be about 5 or 6 hours away from our families. (At least it's not Houston!) But we are confident that God has put this before us and we want to be in the center of his will. We say we trust Him with our lives, and so we are stepping out on faith that He knows best. We are excited about buying a house, making new friends and finding a church. It will be fun to see how God will work through this move. Yancy should start the new position July 1st, so it will all happen quickly. Please keep us in your prayers as we transition to Huntsville.

Feliz Cumpleanos, Senor Heath!

We had a fun time this weekend visiting our family. We celebrated Heath's birthday and Harold's retirement. Friday night, we watched Garrison play t-ball. He did really good, but I have no pictures to prove it because my camera was acting up! It was good to see everyone. Happy Birthday, Heath and Congratulations, Harold!
ps... Sorry, Heath! Yancy made me do it!

Welcome John Carter Evans!

There's nothing sweeter or more precious to me than a newborn baby. Congratulations to Jeff, Marilyn and big brother Ashton! Carter was born last night, and mother and baby are both doing great. Gotta love his hair!!!
